Brisbane Academy follows an open admissions policy whereby we seek to enroll qualified candidates without regard to race, national or ethnic origin, handicap or religion. |

| A Completed Application
An application can be requested by:

|
| An Interview
This is the initial personal contact between the student, the parent, and the school. During this important part of the application process, the student is qualified as to their willingness and desire to learn. The interviewer looks for any potential behavioral problems and/or learning disabilities*. We also ascertain the commitment of the parent(s) and/or guardian(s) as to their active support of both their student(s) and the mission and focus of our School. Those candidates with only minor learning disabilities or low discipline problems may (depending on the individual circumstances) be accommodated at Brisbane. We do not, however, have the resources necessary at this time to provide for the needs and nurturing of students with either severe discipline or learning disability problems.

| A
Placement Assessment
To determine the skill level performance of each new enrolled student, a Placement Assessment is conducted over the first 2 - 3 weeks of enrollment. This is a thorough and comprehensive assessment of each student's academic abilities. The results are used by our teachers and staff to plan and provide for the individual academic needs of your child and ensure proper placement.

| A Trial Day at
Brisbane!
The prospective student will be provided with a Brisbane uniform and actively participate in a complete day of classes. We want to be relatively sure that they will be happy and can adapt to this new and exciting type of learning environment. The bottom line is . . . "What is best for this child?" - "If You Love Them, They Will Learn." |

APPLICATION PROCESS The application process is ongoing throughout the school year and the summer. Although there is no application deadline, enrollment space is limited. Prospective students are therefore encouraged to apply and begin the process as soon as possible.
