To this end Brisbane stresses a well rounded quality education with a strong emphasis on Math and Science. We provide for the extensive development of critical thinking skills as well as excellent communication skills via a strong vocabulary and proficiency in reading comprehension.
In an environment of high expectations, positive nurturing and low student/teacher ratio, our students are being given truly individualized "hands-on instruction". They are motivated and richly challenged. "Falling through the cracks" is simply NOT in our vocabulary at Brisbane Academy.
At graduation when our students are preparing to leave and proceed onto their next level, there is a profound sense of pride and accomplishment, a confidence in the future of our society. . .our world. . . our universe. These are our future leaders, the budding "movers and shakers" of our society whose foundation we've tried to build on solid rock. Our students consistently perform at an average of 2.5 grade levels above the state requirements.
